I will spend what I think the rifle is worth to me.
If it's a complete custom job that shoots well then we can talk money then. If it's a standard factory Ruger then again we can talk. Tell me what you have and where I can view it as well.

he recently said to me he was thinking of holding on to it, but he might find it hard to refuse the asking price...as said before this gun is practically new i can definately say that there is less than a couple of a hundred round through it...but I do not know how accurate it is

If I can't get a full or semi custom 10-22 here I'll get one built.

I'm looking at this place in the UK for custom Ruger 10 22.

Full kit as shown, I don't know what they charge for it.

Very nice, where did you get the volquartsen trigger?

    He bought it from me...

It originally came from Midway, but I wasn't happy with how it was striking. So I sent it back to Volquartsen and they stuck in an uprated hammer spring. Great job now! :D

Cheers dax121 will keep that in mind. I was in with JG and was looking at your 10 22 he has there - very nice.
Keeping all my options open for now till I get the $$$$$ for my CZ varmint. Then I can start to look at buying. Rude Fat Dog looks to be the best custom parts dealer.

Leaning towards an all custom job at the mo. but still not sure.

Thinking all "Kidd" - action, bolt, barrel, trigger and put into a Boyd Evo stock. :)
Pipe dreaming maybe, but who knows ;)

ye that is a nice 10/22 but as an all package i found it too heavy thats the only reason i got rid of it. as u know the weight of my new set up thats the way i like it lol
ye greg is the best guy to deal with for custom 10/22's. its a pricey way to go about it but if its what u want you will save in the long run.
hey if ur buying from boyds id make it soon. as from what i hear soon enuf they wont be exporting their stocks. their leaveing it to midway from end of may!!
ah i wouldnt say a pipe dream it can be done just takes time and money
    u get ur pistol yet?

Well pipe dreams do come true and I have the AW93. I was at the range yesterday with it and can only say it is all I was told it would be. And I was hittting the 5" shoot-n-c @25m (not everytime mind), so I just need to practise now. I'm looking to shoot at the Harbour House comp. in early May, see you there?????

What kind of accuracy could I expect from a 10/22 custom rifle ?

How much do you want to spend on a custom?

    Way to go??

"RFD Diamond Match target barrels, manufactured by KID are the result of engineering mastery and allegedly capable of .159" group at 50 yds. Incorporating a 1 in 16" twist and 11º target crown and with a convex extractor slot for greater rim contact"

Using all Kidd 10/22 parts @$1200 witout a stock.
The KID Supergrade Barreled action includes a KID Two-Stage Trigger, KID Receiver Pins, KID Bolt Buffer, KID CNC Bolt, KID Extractor, KID Firing Pin, KID Match Barrel. If a stock is ordered with the barreled action it will be inletted, bedded and the escutcheon added for no extra cost other than the price of the stock.

That kidd rifle would probably cost a fortune here.
I have cz varmint which is quite accurate but just wondered how accurate some of the custom 10/22s were.
It would be good fun having a super accurate semi-auto
Butget would be 1000 euro max though.

pistol is hard open sights but good fun. we have in fermoy clay's now its a good bit of fun instead of putting holes in targets we can break some clays. i mite be at harbour house i dont know yet. i intend on doing a good few comps this year but its work depending as i told u i do nites.
hopefully in the next month ill have the marlin so the pistol will suffer for a while as ill be mainly doing that. did greg get u a price of a full custom kidd?

my old 10/22 had a custom stock and match grade barrel and it was hitting 1/2" at 50. not bad for a semi auto. i went totally custom but didnt try it benched at 50 yet.
ill get back to you on that one
