McDowell autograph? Help!

Its my Dad's 50th birthday in September this year, last year I worked in Pebblebeach for the US Open constructing and taking down the bleachers while on a working visa. As you know Graeme McDowell won the open, I gathered some memorabilia for my Dad who is a keen golf enthusiast. I would really like Graemes autograph or for him to sign one of the Pebblebeach course maps or any of the other bits i have so I can frame it along with the other stuff for him for his birthday.

Does anyone out there know how I would go about getting his autograph?

    Or is this unrealistic?

    Thanks in advance

Best bet is to contact Horizon, his management group. I'd say your chaces are slim but worth a shot.

I'd say you'll have no trouble getting it, if you send on the stuff you want autographed to his management company they will sort it out for you. Once they satisfy themselves that it's for a present and not for financial gain you'll be fine.

An alternative would be to buy this off Golfing memories in Bray but you probably rather one of your own items signed as you said.

Website is very basic looking and the shop in Bray is small but Michael does have some great stuff in stock and a genuinely nice man to deal with.

Other option would be a simple Tweet or two (as you only get 140 chars) directly to the man himself.

Let us know how you get on.

his management company got back to me and they said due to the large amount of similar requests they will not be able to carry out mine, however they said I can purchase signed memorabilia from his website. I looked this up and they have the US Open 18th green flag signed by him or else my other option is a signed US Open flag from irishgolfmemorabilia.com. Would still like to get a personal message written from him for my dad but this is proving difficult.
Thanks for your help guys! :)

He should be playing the Irish Open over the August bank holiday weekend. It's in Kerry. An option if all else fails.
