so i work in a large company with many different departments, the staff turnover recently has been pretty high, which means new faces all the time. i became single after a 4 year relationship 6 months ago, yet am too nervous to approach other women in my work who dont necessarily have anything to do with my department. i dont want to cross the professional line yet would like to make an approach, any ideas?

Does the company have a social club or any particular company outings.

Does it have Xmas parties or company "do's"

Do people go to a perticular pub after work etc

This is a bit confusing - do you mean you have romantic notions of certain women at work, and would like to approach them?

Or simply that you're single and you feel that even being friendly with them could be misconstrued?
