Plaster is dry at this stage and about to start painting. Plasterer used metal angle bead when plastering and I am just wondering if anybody has any tips about how these beeds might be primed to prevent paint wareing off easily. Also, one of the beads has got rust on it, what would be the best way to treat this rust prior to painting.

Touch them up with undercoat or BIN primer (shellac based)

Use Jenolite on any rust sections, then prime.
