Anyone here been the victim/perpatrator of good prank phone-calls.

Recently a friend of mine had his phone stolen on the bus and we noticed that it rang out if you called it so we tried to ellicit a response from the thief. Obviously just calling it didn't work since the scum-bag on the other end obviously didn't want anything to do with us.

So in an attempt to reignite contact with the sadly missed phone and fuck with the thief's head a wee bit we sent him the following text:
"Liam, I'm pregnant. If you want anything to do with this child, please get in contact with me." We then rang the phone from the same number everyday for a while then and sent it a few more texts along the same lines.
We had a good laugh imagining the scum-bag on the other end stewing under the pressure that he may have torn a nascent family apart but as yet we've had no response from the phone so it seems our plan failed.

tl;dr version; "blah blah anecdote blah blah, what are your prank-phonecall stories?

but sure the perp wouldnt care if you were preggers or not - probably gave him a laugh!

A better attempt would be 'Are you Ok for the job tomorrow, at least 5 monkeys in it for you, bring a mate if you can'

Or 'some scumbag stole my phone while I was givin his ma the roide...'

People who steal stuff off people on buses lack the part of the brain that deals with guilt.

can you pay to have a company track its GPS?

A good test to see how old you are if you remember this ad campaign

    Now sing with me:
We all want to use the phone/Hey! Stupid!..............Leave that phone alone

I doubt that would be worth the effort, it was just a crappy nokia.
