Hi guys, looking for a bit of help here!

Tommorow i'm buying a 01 nissan pathfinder single cab pick up, its got a years DOE on it so what will i have to do in order to keep it commercial for tax/ insurance purposes for myself as it is going to be used for genuine commercial reasons. Do you need to supply a vat number? Or do i not need to bother with any of that until the DOE is up for renewal again and just go ahead on tax it and insure it as i normally would?

    Any help appreciated!

See this thread, but I'll save you a 70 page read and say it depends on your local motor tax office, there is no consistency with them.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
