Rather typical of Forest. Enjoying enough possession and chances to be ahead, and as per usual, we find ourselves behind. No luck whatsoever. Whitbred has been immense for Norwich at the back.

Indeed, hard to believe you are behind at half time.

Just click play on ss2 and there will be a few streams to choose from, 1 and 3 seem to be the best for me.

YES!!!!!!!! Awesome performance by the boys. We needed that ahead of the big game on Thursday. Some brilliant tackling and Jackson was unreal for us today!

Would love to see Norwich get promoted, lovely club with very decent fans.

Loved the atmosphere in this game, even though we lost their fans were very gracious and I'll never forget that:

That final will always be remembered as "The Friendly Final". Some of the lads I know who went to the game tell me stories of 100+ a side game of football in the bus carpark before the game. Also many other great stories from the day. Do you know we have a friendly cup competition each season between both sides?

Yep there's an excellent relationship between the two sets of fans. If my information is correct we actually beat you 3-1 the week before that cup final, shame about the result the following week from our point-of-view.

Here's a print of the ticket from the match:

I've been told stories of 1977 (when we brought 12,000 fans down to your ground and there was loads of our lot in your end) not a bit of bother all night which was very unusual back then. We went 2-0 down and got it back to 2-2 which meant we had a chance to stay up on the last game of the season, which was the following week, unfortunately Jimmy Hill shafted us though but that's a story for another time.

After tonight's game it now looks like it's between Norwich and Reading for second spot (assuming Cardiff perform their annual end of season capitulation). If i had to bet i would say Norwich, i cant see Reading keeping up that run, they'll have to lose sometime surely before season's end?! Norwich have kept the momentum going throughout the season. Even when they've had a bad result, as they did last weekend, they've always bounced back with a win.

As for Forest, playoff chances are now looking bleak (and that's before Leeds and Leicester play tomorrow). Even when we play well - as we've done in all our games this month - we still cant get a result. Badly missing a 20 goal a season front man. Seven strikers at the club and the only one who's scoring just happens to be on loan at ScUnthorpe  Mis-firing strikers + too many soft goals conceded = Billy Davies repetition of "I told you so".
