Presumably. A lot of people have been screwed over by the sounds of it. I now have 4 exams in a row, 2 days off, and then 6 exams in a row.

And another exam a few days later.

I really hadnt cared about her visit but to shut down a college during exam time is OTT!

    Im livid about this!

What is wrong with coming in June?!

The historical significance of this visit trumps exams. Regardless, it will be a wonderful spectacle.

It will be a wonderful spectacle someone punching her in the face and throwing her into the boot of an Opal Corsa.

I'd rather the exams be moved than have to come in an hour earlier because of the extra traffic/unpredictable transport. Until she's here we don't know whether it will be of no consequence or everything might be messed up. There could even be protests so getting in and out of the exam centres could be difficult. I'd be livid if I had to spend time monitoring how her visit is affecting normal business instead of having time to study. Well done to them for having the sense to move stuff around, though it should have been done initially.

Luckily I've escaped the move, I didn't have any exams that day. But I know loads of people who have their finals all screwed up because of this now, final year law students with five days of finals in a row. What about the rest of the college? Will the library be open so we can at least study that day?!

Is this a serious post? Because if so, if you truly believe anyone with malevolent intentions will get anywhere near her on her visit without being shot than you are idiotic.

If not, why woud you take delight in the idea of an elderly woman being punched in the face?

It's a quote from the Rubberbandits song Up Da Ra. It's only a bit of humour although that being said I would chase her around a field with dog **** on the end of a golf club.

From Trinity College Students' Union on facebook:
"Thanks to over 250 emails of complaint, College has reversed its decision to move exams from Tuesday 17th May to Saturday 14th May. All exams will now take place as previously scheduled, with locations to be advised."

Absolutely brilliant news. So, so bloody relieved to hear this!

Looks like my summer will be starting 4 days later again..kinda ridiculous to go changing it again when people were just getting used to the idea of the original change.
