getting back into minecraft

    hey guys havnt played this in a good 2-3 months, what are the big changes if any that have occurred with the game? has online got a day n nite cycle now? how about all the monsters and stuff online?

    online has night and day but depending on the server and the mods installed the day and night cycle can be set at will, biggest update so far is wolves that you can tame and get to fight for you. and again depending on the server you pop onto the monsters are on/off.

    some are purely creational (tallon's server)
    and others are survival (boards server)

    cool im going to love the online survival mode :) is the boards server good? a clockwork day and night cycle with monsters etc. ?

    Yeah it's full on - same as single player.

    havent been on the boards server but from what i've read you build a safe house, you play as normal like singleplayer and you can buy items in shops. day and night are normal and monsters are on. they have events too like treasure hunts and haunted mansions.

    whats this im also reading about deathmatch modes etc, ? seems this game has come on leaps and bounds :D

    that seems like such a cool idea if your playing with other people, cant wait to get back into this now :D, also lads whats the craic with this world seed business? is that like loading up a pre generated map?
