eurobird 13.0

    i have a dreambox 500s and a motorised dish. when i scan 13.0 i only seem to pick up 90 channels and all from bskyb it says when scanning. I dont seem to find any german channels or anything like that, any ideas why this might be?

    Because your dish is aligned to 28 east instead of hotbird 13 east mate..

    Are you using a motor or a fixed dish?

    Usin a motorised dish and moved the dish to what I thought was 13.0. Maybe I did not move it far enough west when I was moving it from 28 to 13. I'll try it again and see if it works by moving it more west than before...

    If you google some of the channel names and transponder frequencies, you'll easily find where it's currently pointed, thus will know what way it needs to go to get 13E.

    There are loads of sat sites with lists of the sats/channels/frequencies/etc. flysat.com, lyngsat.com, kingofsat.net.

    Are you using usals or discqe positioning? if its usals then there is something wrong with your motor install.

    I think the OP is mixing up their Satellites

    "Hotbird" = 13 East
    "Eurobird" = 9 East (+ a shared slot at 28 East)

    And the best position for Gerrman channels is 19 East
