Permanent TSB sending new Debit cards?

Just got a call from Permanent TSB that they are issuing me a new Visa Debit with new chip design (i already have a Visa Debit) And when i checked in Open24, there was a card waiting for activation.. Havent received any info about this via letter etc? Anyone else with same situation?

Initially when PTSB began issuing new Visa Debit cards for some reason the chips werent recognised in some shops and this meant people couldnt get cashback. In Nov they upgraded the chip so I think what they are doing now is replacing all Visa Debit cards that were issued between Sept and the end of Nov so there are no more cash back issues.
