A great race which was very well organised. Well done to Lough Key Tri club and all the locals for a very well run event. Swim and run are amongst the best I have done in Ireland and the bike is a real challenge. You couldn't pick a better setting for a triathlon (as Gerry Duffy noted).

One gripe - the rude and agressive behaviour of a TI official was not cool. I made the mistake of trying to get my bike before the last cyclist was in - fair enough I deserved a telling off which I accepted. However being physically pushed and manhandled is not on. Sort it out TI you are doing the sport a disservice with that carry on.

Anyway, don't want to focus on that. This is one of the best races on the circuit with real potential to bring in international competitors and be big. Spectacular location and even the weather can't dampen the mood

    Hi Prince_Buster
Thanks for the positive comments about Sunday's race, it's always good to hear after a long slog to get the race up and running. But I'm concerned about your gripe. Perhaps you should contact TI directly??
