    I went for a look.
Great herd of cows. Most were black limousins. All without exception, were exceptionally big at the hips. Not over fancy on muscle either. Loads of milk too, with a few missing spins. A lot were old enough too, many were born 2001.
Prices were up to 2,800 for the younger nicer ones and back to 2,100 for the older ones.
Two BB bulls sold too, the younger (2009) made 4,400 and the older one (2006) made 7,000. Yep €7,000. Fine looking animal. Big long and muscular yet great on his feet. Dont know his breeding but the younger one was by VDC. All cows calf on their own, I was told, and none of the calves on creep feeding yet.
It was a young guy selling them. Not getting out of farming, but travelling for a while.

Now they are unreal prices for stock bulls that age. Even at 06, he's a 5year old. I suppose though he's reputation went before him with having his calves there to view

My mistake, the younger bull was born 2009 (€4,400), the older one 2006 (€7,000). Mad prices alright. He'd want to bull a lot of cows to justify that price. He weighed 1030Kg, younger one 755Kg.
