Attic Insulation

Quick question. Our attic is sweating. I think its because we have sloped ceilings with approx 4" rafters. Its been packed with insulation, right up to the felt. I have pulled this out in places and this has helped the problem in these parts of the attic

Is there an easy way to insulate this space. I doubt its going to be possible to push fiberglass insulation down there. I dont want to leave it uninsulated

    ventilation is the key.

at the moment your attic cannot ventilate because insulation stops the air moving from the eaves up the slope and back down.

a possible solution would be to use 2 50mm diameter wavin pipes between every rafter and pack the insulation back down between, making sure to leave pipes long enough so as not to block the air movement.
IMO this is the solution with the least cost and hassle to resolve your problem.

With 100mm rafters you could also put 50mm of polyeuroto the inside of the rafter allowing the outer side to breath and put 50mm insulated slab inside the sloping ceiling.
