Dingle peninsula

    Hi All,

We booked a holiday home on the Dingle peninsula last year through a supermarket loyalty offer. We were hoping to do the same again this year however the houses are not on offer through the supermarket this year and they are way too expensive to book normally. They were right on the beach in Ballydavid. I know that some of the houses have been bought by holidaymakers. If anyone has any information on how I could go about contacting an owner with a view to a holiday rental I would be most appreciative. Or any other houses in that exact area.

    Thank you

Do you mean the Wine Strand ones?

Thanks Jos28. Have tried every website I could find including the ones you mentioned but no go.

Byhookorbycrook, no, its not the Wine Strand ones but have stayed there before and enjoyed it. The houses I was talking about are across the bay from Wine Strand, a little beach and pier at Ballydavid or Baile na nGall. The houses were great because the kids had so much freedom. A little shop beside us, a beach, restaurant and pub all within 100 yds of the house. Even the kids being able to go to the shop on their own for sweets was a big thing for them.

There are 8 of these houses and I know that last year they weren't full as we were there for 3 weeks and noticed there weren't a lot of the houses occupied and the 1 or 2 houses that were occupied were owners. I've also seen the houses for sale on different websites which leads me to believe that maybe the owners might rent them privately.
