HELP ME! Frozen i-phone.

My iphone just froze on me. It wont let me turn it off. I've tried plugging it it in to charge, and into computer, but it wont budge from the unresponsive "slide to power off" page. What do i do. EDIT TO ADD - Ive tried waiting. Its been frozen for almost 2 hours.

Have you tried holding down the power button + home button at the same time until the phone shuts down and the apple logo appears?
