Just got quoted 3,700 euros for one dental implant.
I was expecting about 1500 but jesus 3,700 and had to pay 200 for consultation and scan today. It just seems like so much money.
I wouldn't bother but it is one of my teeth near the front so its very obvious when I smile and has bothered me my whole life since it was extracted.

Just a bit of a shocker throught it would be a little cheaper..
This is the south - i haven't shopped around yet but if it is going to cost me 200 euros for each consultation I don't think I will be shopping around too much.

Anyone any advice ? is this the standard ?
I know the dental practice has a great reputation for good work

Are you willing to travel elsewhere in ireland or does it have to be galway. 3700 is high enough but not the highest I have heard of, 1500 is too low, I know plenty that will place, graft and restore of maybe 800-1000 euro less. (even in galway)

I am nearly finished my implant treatment in Galway and it is not costing that level of money.

It depends on the implant and the implant site
this vs this both 4 bedroom houses different sites

It does seem on the high side but without more info its impossible to know

Seems a bit much, 900 for an abutment ! the other charges are about right for a specialist (but is it a specialist carrying out the treatment?)

Flowerpot, I'm mid treatment for a dental implant with a great dentist in the city centre in Galway and it's costs 2,500. It's a really fancy practice with all the latest equipment so I thought it might be one of the more expensive ones but after years of spending money on cowboy dentistry I wanted to go with good quality.

I was quoted 3,000 5 years ago from another practice so prices have come down since then.

Am I allowed say the name of the dentist mods? I'm very happy with my treatment.
