Hi. Has anyone filled out a W-8BEN form recently? I have to fill out one to register with an online U.S broker for trading U.S stock options. I'm stuck on section 6 which asks me for a ITIN. I can't quite figure out if I need to fill in this part. Besides, I don't have an ITIN and according to the instructions for filling…

Hi. Has anyone filled out a W-8BEN form recently? I have to fill out one to register with an online U.S broker for trading U.S stock options. I'm stuck on section 6 which asks me for a ITIN. I can't quite figure out if I need to fill in this part. Besides, I don't have an ITIN and according to the instructions for filling out the form, it could take up to 6 weeks to get one.

If you are irish citizen you fill out 1-5, 9a and sign it. that is all
