Turbo for 3.1 Trooper

anyone know here i can get a turbo for a 3.1 trooper reasonably priced..or is there anywhere that repairs them. theres 240,000 miles on this bad boy and its started a lot of whining lately.. i checked for play an its grande but just want to have one near at hand when i need it. thanks DD

you sure you dont just have a leak in a pipe or something making you hear it more? or is it a worn metal sort of whining rather than a whistly sort? Have come across plenty of people thinking the turbo was in trouble just because they could hear it or started hearing it louder.

Probably not worthwhile getting work done on the turbo for a trooper, not in this country with stupid prices anyway. You're probably best just ringin round various places to find one
