ok so to get to the point guys im sick of sitting around with my mates listening to music

im looking to start a sort of an oasis style band

im a singer and am looking for some cool lads to start a band just people i can get along with really you dont need to be jimi hendrix sure im not sinatra myself but i can bang out an oasis tune haha
in need of a guitarist and someone on bass(also some backing vocalists would be nice)
as the drummers out there sorry lads i have someone in mind but anyway its not a cover band im looking for but until we get to know each other and our limits musically covers is all we can do.

i like most music beatles,u2,thin lizzy springsteen ect but to have an oasis sound is my goal

im 17,18 in 2 months and think the summer would be a great time to start looking for gigs and im the meantime just get to know each other n jam a bit,im a laybacked guy and open to ideas and look forward to hearing them.anyway only people who really wanna make some music thanks..ages around 17-20s? but i dont really mind ..

How much experience you lookin for? Im 20 and tryin to teach meself guitar huge oasis fan would be up for bangin out a few tunes. Really want to get in to a band set up eventually
