I bought a netbook and adverts the other day for work. I was led to believe it was running slow because norton was slowing everything down however, Even in the bios everything is very slow to refresh, very "shadowey" It works great on an external monitor. Doing a windows re-install is not going to help because the problem is occurring even before windows loads up. Re-installing windows 7 is really difficult anyway because the small text for selecting partitions etc is invisible!

The further i look into this, the more I think it maybe a problem with the cable that goes from the board to the LCD.
