Nowhere near as popular as Aintree or Fairyhouse, but I'll still be sticking a few euro on 2 or 3.

Always Right looks good to me.

I like the look of many of them but at the prices Poker De Sivola will get the trip and will prefer the galloping nature of the track - Ferdy Murphy is a dab hand at this Scottish National gig. Fair Along could be interesting but theres a good chance he won't last it out. Blazing Bailey was just at Cheltenham to keep the weights down for Bensalem and looks very interesting. And finally Ouzbeck I think could run a good race. I'm drawn to him but I'm not exactly sure why...

Hugh Taylor has gone for Ouzbeck and I remember now htat he won the Summer National over 28f last year and has since run over 26f and 24f...a good 33f might see the best of him.

Unfortunately Fair Along was taken out, probably with a run in the Bet365 in mind. Shame really. Would love to have seen him at Ayr.

Also he mentions that Emma Lavelle has aimed him at this race all season and I remember now hearing her say that in October. I knew there was something niggling me about that horse

You just like going for lunch Urban!

I'm not interested in a horse who failed to win it twice. I know he's better off this time despite being out of the weights but I backed State Of Play at Aintree and I just think if he didn't win it before, he shouldn't be winning it now. Looks nailed on for a place though.

Neptune for me, slower pace and class make him big value at 25/1 EW with 5 places and only 7 horses in the handicap. Wish Fair along was running id love to see him over this type of trip..
