Blog Software for site

    hi guys.
    anybody know of a good software to install on my site for a type of blog/news feed. wordpress and the likes is no good to me as i want the news feed on my already built site using dreamweaver.

    examples would be
    www.pinkbike.com
    www.redmondpie.com

    something that generates the pages and archive for me so i dont have to keep doing it manually.
    ive never had to do this on my site so is it as simple as pasting the code to my page i want the news feed on or do i have to install something to my server?
