Artist Trading Cards?

does anyone here do artist trading cards (ATC's)? the people who i've swapped these with are into crafts rather than artists.

i love my ATC collection - just wondering if anyone here likes them too

I think the US is your best bet for ATC's. Check out www.splitcoaststampers.com for an ATC section. In my own experience the Irish crafters I know won't give anything away for nothing and ATC's are supposed to be swapped, not sold.

its mad - cos swapping them is fun, and making them is the fun part. i trade mostly via a UK ATC group - great theme swaps

Hi Will, have a look at these beauties! ATC's are miniature works of art made to a regulated size and are swapped between artists. You could Google "artist trading cards" or Youtube it and you will get lots of info.

You can use whatever media you like and you can mix them as you wish, as long as you keep within the 2.5"x3.5" size and do not sell them, they are for trading/swapping only.

I love the idea of ATCs but I have got very bored with the Victorian scraps/ old photos style. Digital ATCs might be interesting too.

im not a fan of the vintage look - i get some in swaps but i dont do victorian atc's - if we have a vintage theme i just do some other form of vintage

i know some people who use paint, charcoal and other mediums for drawing rather than crafts. i try drawing ones on occasion. the great thing about atc's is theyre whatever you want them to be and its a great way to use scraps of paper - that would otherwise be thrown out.

I mainly make handmade cards but I think I may try some ATCs soon when I get some time.
