Every time i restart my computer windows live sign-in assistant is installed again. I have to uninstall it before i can access my windows shares via my xbox. Really annoys me.
I googled it but couldnt find anything.

Just change the Windows Update settings.

I had this issue before.. I had a linux machine here accessing SMB shares on Windows.. Was working fine but I installed Windows Live Movie Maker, which automatically installs all the rest of the Windows Live crap with it, and then the SMB shares stop working... Removed the Windows Live lock, stock and barrel and it started working again...

I had to download another free video editor, VideoSpin, because I couldnt install Windows Live Movie Maker without that stupid fukn Sign-In Assistant installing itself (even using the advanced custom install) and blocking my shares...

Windows Live ID Sign in Assistant messes up SMB shares
