I've been looking at flats with two mates and found a nice place in Christchurch. I'm just wondering has anyone had any experiences of the area, are there many other TCD students living there etc etc...?

Myself and a friend are in an apartment in West Gate (next to Cornmarket) The area is fine, takes about 6-8min to cycle in. I can't say I know any other students in the area though. Make sure the place has good soundproofing as well, as there are a lot of ambulances going to and from St. James at all hours.
