    Hi All,

this is yet another advice seeking thread.

I'm looking into starting a masters in september, so I want to invest in a either a netbook/notebook or laptop.

I commute to work by train, so smaller would be more ideal, and also with enough power to run office and surf etc comfortably. I bought the OH a samsung n110 2years ago when she did a masters and its still working but has slowed down a fair bit.

Just to note, I have a good PC at home so this would primarily be for in college and on the commute.

I reckon I'd manage a budget of €500 or there abouts, maybe a tad more if a really good offer.

    All advice appreciated,

    Rob

I was thinking something like this, but would I be spending too much for spec I dont necessarily need?
