LoI Supforum or Dedicated Mod.

The mod bias towords the LoI fans on here has gone too far. Time after time someone piles into a LoI thread, declares it useless and then people who react get infracted and banned (see CiaranC's ban in the State of Modern Football Thread - clearly it means foreign football - locals need not apply).

The current mods do not understand or give a damn about Irish football, and thats their lookout, but the bias has gone on too far and is too extreme.

So can we either have our sub forum as promised and moderate out the flamers and trolls or can we have a mod who understands the LoI and can regulate it sensibly without such naked disdain?

If done right, a LoI sub forum could take over from foot.ie, who have 1/10th of their posters of a few years ago. At the moment, we are a barely tolerated irritant to the English posters, and thats simply wrong.

Feedback forum is probably your best shout rather than here.

Maybe, but the point is that there is a level of disgruntlement amongst a huge number of posters that needs to be looked at. The mods are not doing their job well, fairly or impartially when it comes to Irish football. A LoI sub forum was promised and renaged on. Enough is enough etc.

When was an LOI subforum promised?

Sub forum is probably the best bet, it wont be entertained though until the end of season review I suspect.

You mean the "wait till its mid LoI season review"?

Hardly a logical time for it.

Before a mod weighs in with his baton and riot shield, i feel this needs to be discussed and the football forum is the right place for it. Im undecided on the whole thing to be honest.
