    I'm curious about two things

When they say programmable calculators not allowed ,what exactly do they deem programmable? are sharp el-520w d.a.l calculators allowed?

When do we pick our broad curriculum module for sf?

    Thanks

    Yep thats fine.

By programable they mean really expensive calculators which are actually pretty much mini computers. If you spend enough money you can get calculators that will let you write programs so that it will answer statistical type questions for you, great for research, cheating for exams.

Chances are if you dont know if your calculator is programable then its not. Best to check though!

You have loads of time. I had until the end of August when I had to pick (for Computer Science). They didn't even tell us about it until after the exams.
