GHD- Paint has come off the plates - can I re-paint?

    Hi,
    Just wondering if anyone has advice regarding paint that has come off the plates of a GHD - is it possible to re-paint and if so, what kind pf paint should I use? I presume it's more damaging to the hair now?

    Where did you buy it?
    Stop using it and if you purchased it in a salon then take it back or get onto GHD direct.
    If you didnt purchase from a salon then chances are its fake.
    I have 2 and had one for years and nothing like this has happened..
