I loved the way the producers had no fear in building up main characters and then getting the rest of the cast to brutally bludgeon them to death once they get bitten and turned into zombies

The first episode is amazing, then it loses it way completely. The lead character seems hellbent on getting everyone killed through his stupid actions every week. and it says a lot when the person you want to survive the most is the crossbow wielding racist redneck. Had such potential given the source material and I'm a big Frank Darabont fan but...meh.
