apparently at $40K+ a time our former leader has been advising Nigerians how they can avoid mistakes made by Ireland.

'' Ensuring Banks are regulated and operated in line with best international standards could prove to be a key in capturing the interest of foreign investors''

An I missing something what experience does Mr Ahern have in this area.

Perhaps he could advise them how to get a better return from Lottery Scams, or how to win a few BoB on the horses.

Hope he is not using the Govt. Jet, or worst still the Merc. for these visits.

That probably explains all the "Good afternoon. We don't know each other, but I want your money and will do nothing for you in return" emails.

All he has to do is pay the admin fees and the 40k will be deposited in his bank account next week(if he has one:D)

They're assuming he's learned from his "mistakes" enough to advise them.

A dangerous assumption given that he hasn't yet admitted that he made any mistakes.

    I received this email earlier...
    Howya,
    im De Bert
I was once de leader of Ireland and I got loads of monney from de backhanders cos I looked after me mates but its all under de counter. Now I have about 2,000,000,000 dat I am keeping in a wardrobe at de moment but Im tinkin dat I shuld put in in one of dem bank tings.
Ive never had a bank acount befor and I was wonderin if I could put it all in your bank and Id give you some of de monney.
If anywon asks where ya got your share, just say dat ya won it on de horses or dat your mates loant it to ya.
Obviously the Nigerians have learnt a lot from him already!

I heard he went over to ask the prince of Nigeria when he'd be receiving the money he was promised.

Then hes off to see Bernie Madoff.

So first he was adivising Caribean and Latin American countries how to great a bubble (opps sorry meant booming economy) and now he is advising the Nigerians how to avoid mistake like Ireland.

    His speech should start with...

"Do not elect or allow yourselves be governed by a gobsh*** like me."

But of course bertie and the truth never inhabited the same universe never mind the same room.

Thus his speech will probably be about never trusting your number two or those special advisors, because they never tell you the truth.
Of course the real truth would be they are cut from the same cloth.

Mistakes were things done by other people, don't you know.
