He is a jockey, its his job to see the job out for a place finish but was clearly cruising.

That said 10 days is pretty harsh I agree.

He did get the horse placed at 11/1 aswell I might add and was not going to win, the horses wellfare is also part of the jockeys job and this was a three year old running in a competitive handicap, didnt need to be knocked about.

There isnt a snowballs chance in hell any other Jockey would have gotten ten days for that, a joke of a decision.

Agree with you Premier, no other jockey would have got 10 days for that.

Agree. Its fallon so bound to be treated more harshly.

That said he will surely get it cut in half on appeal, unfortunately for him a 5 day ban would still miss 2000 guineas

They hate me over in the UK :( :pac:

To be fair I stopped riding, I got caught for 2nd place, it's a fair cop and I have to take the suspension. I know I wouldn't have won but I cost the owners prize money and also I'm sure 1 or 2 (not many more tho considering winner was 10/1 and my mount was 11/1) will have had the forecast that I scuppered. I should have pushed him out to the line, I was unlucky but rules are rules!
