Is it the cork swansea ferry? Or is there another option?

    Thanks in advance :D

Are you driving OP? If so, it may be quicker to take a fast ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard or Pembroke. Then it's a fairly straight drive to Barry Island down the M4.

If you're a foot passenger, then the Cork/Swansea option is probably best.

The one part of the trip that would be slow is the road between Fishguard and the start of the M4. While it's not too bad, it's single carriageway and the road doesn't present many overtaking opportunities. If you're first off the Ferry, that won't be a problem!

looked into them, it's looking like the cork swansea is just as cheap - it'll take longer but we won't be paying as much petrol, and the boat trip should be fun so i think we'll go that route.

    Thanks!

Yep, petrol is a big factor alright! Have a good trip. While you're at Barry Island take a look around Margam Park and head into the mountains and see the "Big Pit". You can go down an old coal mine there...
