Hollywood Hills Tractor and Classics run

    West Wicklow Classic & Vintage vehicle Club are running a charity tractor and classics run on Sun May 15th in aid of the National Rehabilitation Hospital. This hospital has helped many local people following accidents and serious injuries etc. See www.nrh.ie for info on the Hospital and its work. NRH is a registered charity and we have written consent to fund raise on their behalf.

    The run will be based in Hollywood, Co Wicklow where we have been kindly offered a field for the event.
    This event is open to all Tractors, Classic Cars, Motorcycles, Commercials and just about anything else that moves.
    Cars and bikes etc will run before tractors and on a somewhat longer route to avoid delays and congestion. The route takes in some of the most scenic parts of West Wicklow so it will be a nice drive as well as helping a most deserving cause.
    Refreshments will be served afterwards and there will be prizes for best vehicles etc. There will also be a small thank you prize for each vehicle and a free draw for all participants. The run gets under way at 1:00 PM and there will be lots to do and see in the field all afternoon.
    Please support this event as it is for a very worthy cause and our first real venture into the tractor end of the classic scene.
    There will be lots to do and see in the field all day including bouncing castle, pony rides, wheel of fortune and much more. Refreshments tent open all afternoon.

    Thank you to everybody who supported this event. despite the bad weather we raised a substantial sum for the National Rehabilitation Hospital. We expect the final figure to be approximately €3500.
    Thanks also to all club members and volunteers who helped out on the day and in the preparations and clear up. Thanks also to all our sponsors and everybody who helped in any way with organising, running or financing the event. We couldnt have done it without all your help.
