I've seen these in Champion and Marathon an the idea behind the design seems sound enough but are they really any use? My New Balance and Asics have served me well over the years but I'm due a new trainer hopefully, something that can make the most of what knee cartilage I've left which is why I'm considering them. I'd be afraid that they'd fall apart after a couple of weeks and the prospect of them being a gimmick that doesn't work at all.

    Remember Reebok Pumps?

Jesus I've just had a mad flash back. I ran my first marathon in a pair of reebok pumps. Really didn't think it through properly, they had no laces for my race chip therefore no official finish time

By 'picked up' I take it you mean 'picked up and put back down again'?! :)
