Leon v Golf

    Hi all,
Any advice would be much appreciated, considering purchasing a new car, have it narrowed down to 2. First is 1.6 Leon Sport, the second a 1.4 Golf, both petrol.

I took both for a test drive and the Leon won hands down, and just felt it looked a much better car however the golf is 2 years younger 2008. Both cars have simliar mileage (30k) and are same price however was noted that Leon had 3 owners compared to the golf's 1.

Has anyone any advice, in particular any problems with Leons.

    Many thanks

    Sounds like an expensive Leon.

Do you have to buy one of these cars?

Why not be a bit more patient and wait for a 1.6 Golf to come up?

Personally I would much rather a golf anyway, but I would not buy a 1.4.
