Usa Rider Gavin Mannion(6th) is of good Galway Stock.


Born in Cambridge, Massachussetts, Gavin is the son of former Tuam cyclist Tommy Mannion, himself a double Irish junior champion - and grandson of the late Jimmy Mannion, a multiple Irish grass track champion.

I missed him! We also had a lad last year Christopher Juul Jensen who was born here if I recall, he was finishing in the top 10 of all these big U23 events. I know he had a brother and am not sure if that is him in the results.
