Nice place for a walk? - Altamont Gardens or Oak Park near Carlow town

The falconry (and of course the shops) at Rathwood should be open on Sunday.

The cargo barges that are celebrating the anniversary of the Barrow navigation are in Carlow town at the moment but are due in Leighlinbridge this weekend (RTE)

Weather permitting, go for a picnic somewhere, any of the places already mentioned or have one on Killeshin hill or Mt Leinster for the views.

The weather forecast looks good so you can have a relaxing time in Delta Sensory Gardens on the edge of Carlow town. http://www.deltacentre.org/Gardens.html
The gardens are open on Sundays and it is a gorgeous place with up to 14 interconnecting gardens. I promise you will love it. I think but am not certain, that the coffee shop is open on Sundays from 2.00 - 5.00pm. Try visit and let us know here how you get on :)
