    Hows the going,

Anyone know where i could pick up a front set of shock absorbers cheap on the net for a opel astra 1999 3dr hatchback. Im from kerry and went to a local parts place priceing them at 100 a corner which i thought was a bit steep, i was on micksgarage.ie and found some for 80 a piece but with p&p its more a less the same as buying them locally, any help appreciated.

    Cheers

Worth giving them a call in the morning, they will likely be able to get shocks for your car within a day or two and send them fast. As regards other cheap sites i am all out!!

Have you called your local fastfit or similar? To be honest, these guys bulk source their parts so cheaply that getting them to supply and fit costs little more than you getting them by yourself. And the big plus is that you don't need to go to all that hassle of fitting them yourself. Last time I needed front shocks for an Astra estate was in 2007, and I think I got them supplied and fitted for around €180 for both.
