Basically how do you go about getting off emergency tax if you get a second job ?
Also this job is only a few days a month so what is the best thing to do about tax credits ?
Assume average wage in first job is €200 or less most weeks ?
    Any info would be great?

I can't tell from your post if you are on emergency tax still in your first job but all you have to do is get the registered number of both of your employers and the date you started in both jobs (the registered number will be on your payslips - 12345678A).

Then ring your local tax office and tell them that you are either (a) on emergency tax in both of your jobs or (b) you have taken up a second job. Tell the Revenue the wages you are likely to be earning from both jobs and they will split your tax credits appropriatey.

The other thing you can do is leave your full tax credits with one of your jobs and have zero tax credits with your second job (you will get taxed heavily) and at end of year when you get your P60 from both employers, submit them to revenue and you would more than likely get back a refund.

    Hope this helps.
