Dell have offered me a free ,full like for like replacement for my current laptop because of technical problems.

The problem is they don't do the 13 inch models of mine anymore so I either have to pick the 15 inch, or a simular model which if more expensive I could pay to make up the difference.

I'm willing to pay around 100 euro if I find a model I like.

I really dont want the 15 inch, one of the main reasons I picked my current laptop was it was small but had great graphics and processers.

So what I would like in a new laptop is
    1. Smaller than 15, Ideally 13
    2. simular or better graphics and processing power
    3. 500gb storage (what I have now)
    4. at least 4gb ram (what I have now)
    5. maybe if for the right price Windows 7 64 bit (dont have that now so that would be an upgrade.
    6. Hdmi outlet (have one now this is vip)

    Help please?:)

    P.s
Looking at the insperon m301z on the dell website. Would that have simular performance to the studio xps 13?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A better idea would be to say how much you have to spend; since they aren't making those models anymore, it's pretty much hard to judge. What processor and graphics card do you have in it? Also, what is the value you have from Dell?

The problem is, it's going to be really hard. Since things are a lot cheaper now. See, there are new processors out which makes things cheaper for the olds ones. An XPS I wanted a few months ago was around 1200, now it'd be about 900 or so.
We'd really need to know how much you have to spend.
Are you sure that's the videocard model? I couldn't find any graphics card by that name.

Ok heres the offer dell sent me.

I'm still really not too keen on the bulkyness but there are loads of improvements, eg windows 7 better graphics card etc which are slowly winning me over.

I think I might ask about the price for upgrading to 6gb ram and an intel® Core™ i5-560M Processor and see what they say.

So what do you think? Good deal?

Another possibility is to accept what they give you, sell it on and buy what you want with the proceeds. If you don't play 3D games or work with 3D modelling packages, I would imagine the upgraded graphics card is not particularly relevant. If Dell will upgrade you for free, go for it, otherwise I don't think it makes sense to pay for 6GB RAM, when 4GB is plenty for most applications.
An offer of a brand new XPS 15 for your old laptop is certainly not to be scoffed at - if it were me I would accept it and take things from there.
