Cant help you in regards its current condition, but its a course well worth playing. Some very good holes on it. Back 9 is the better 9 from my memory.

think it's quite over-rated tbh,a couple of nice holes but some truly bland one's also,in saying that have not played it this year but it has improved each year i've played it as it matures
a reallly short (reachable with a draw)par 4 followed by a reachable par 5 to get you going
some nice holes on the b9,the toughest the 17th,long par 4

expect to score well the course is not too tough off the regular sticks

+1 for me too. Had heard great things about it but played it last Oct and found it only OK. Some of the holes were a bit blind and bland. Some lovely scenery in parts though. Worth playing if you're down that neck of the woods but I wouldn't travel especially for it.

no it's not as bad as some of the comments made, the place just has no real feel to it,worth a go if you're down that way but not worth travelling for,i thought the same about Waterford Castle also

Member of faithlegg course - Some of the comments a bit harsh. It plays best of the back sticks although not long the greens make it more difficult. Unfortunately there has been some disease on the greens and they have been working to correct this, they are a little bumpy and slow due to all the work. Like a lot of company owned courses around the country, the focus is on revenue and not protecting the course, play allowed when it should not be. It is best to play during the summer and we hope the standards will improve as it has slipped in the past year. Hope this helps:)
