    Hello

Can anyone point me in the direction of cases which deal with the law regarding writing and publishing a book which refers in parts to your previous employers?

    Thanks

You are probably looking at defamation. Have a look at the Defamation Act 2009. If you identify your former employer in this book and say anything untrue that would tend to lowed him in the eyes of reasonable members of society then expect to get sued.

Not sure about case law but the "Accidental Diplomat" was written by a former civil servant about the Dept of Foreign Affairs.

Read the book a while ago, my memory is not to clear on the detail but I don't think I noticed anything too bad at the time.
