I'm sure its a revenue generator for all the things that may (or may not) be wrong with your car, but hey, for 20 blips it seems like a good deal.

    High visibility vest?

Ok but if you get one and all that for 20 quid before an NCT its a winner.

For the wheel balancing alone, it's not bad.

It would be interest to see how many cars would come out after this €20 check with a clean bill of health needing nothing that they happen to sell.

My guess is none. I had my wheels tracked down there for €55 not long ago and I was told my tyres were cracked, in danger of blowing out on a bend and that I needed two new tyres. Amazing conincidence. My Dad nearly paid them €500 for a full set of tyres before taking it elsewhere for a second opinion (Phoenix Tyres in Drumcondra who have been reccommended to me by several people now) and got one tyre fitted and balanced for €95.

If your power steering or brake fluid needs to be topped up you have a leak and it needs sorting.

I'll let you know. My car passed the NCT 2 days ago so there cant be much wrong with it. I'll find out if its a scam or not.

Did mine today. Didn't try to sell me anything or fix anything un-necessarily. Seemed to do everything listed above. And just warned me about one or two things that i should look after during my next service. Good for €20
