Comeragh CC - Copper Coast Sportif

    Comeragh Cycling Club in association with Altitude, are hosting a the third annual Copper Coast Sportif leisure ride on Saturday April 16th with routes of 50km & 100km. All are welcome to attend for a fun day out, with changing rooms and refreshments available (helmets compulsory).

    The ride begins at the Waterford Regional Sports Centre (RSC) on the Cork Road on Saturday April 16th at 10am. Sign-on will be from 9am.

    50Km Cycle

    The 50k Cycle is targetted towards EVERYONE. The pace will be very relaxed, with every level catered for. It will begin at the Waterford RSC and proceed to Tramore. From there it will take in the best part of the ride, the spectacular undulating copper coast road, taking in Annestown and Kilmurrin Cove before turning inland at Bonmahon along a flat road to Kilmacthomas before proceeding back to Waterford along the main Cork road.

    100Km Cycle

    The 100km cycle takes the same route as the 50km until Bonmahon where instead of turning inland, it continues along to Dungarvan whereupon the group will proceed along the main road back to Waterford. Again, all levels will be catered for.


    BBQ @ T-Bay Surf Club, Tramore.


    Family BBQ Sat. evening April 16th from 5.00pm. The BBQ is open to everyone, Cycling Clubs, Tri Clubs, Family & Friends etc., there will be plenty of “Craic agus Ceoil” with music on the deck and games on the beach to keep the kids entertained.

    €5.00 per head will get you a mouth watering burger and loads of fun, all donations will be gladly accepted and much appreciated.

    So if you are not too tired after cycling the beautiful Copper Coast in our Sportive that morning why not join us for what promises to be a great evening.
