This shouldn't be hard to find, I'm looking for the most expensive crash repairs place in dublin - any takers?

Twat ran into the back of me yesterday and tried to put the blame on me!!

A busman in Cork got a fit of roadrage with me one day and scraped my car just a little bit outside a garda station with a cctv camera looking at him deliberately doing it. Went to a dealer who quoted me 1200 including vat to fix the scratch. Got the quote and got 1200 off buseireann insurance 5 months later. Thanks busman for my free trip to OZ that year.

Have you ever complained about the cost of insurance ?

You don't see this as dishonest by any chance do you ? (I'm presuming you're more or less gloating on the basis that the quote you got was far higher than any repair work could possibly have cost you).

Just because I want the most expensive place to repair my car does not mean I am commiting insurance fraud!

Its up to me who I decide to allow to fix my car regardless of cost (within reason!)

I would be the first to say what comes around goes around and despise insurance fraud of any description but a) the guy who crashed in to the OP tried to blame the OP so all bets off and b) OP is not attempting to commit fraud, he wants his car put back as it was regardless of cost.

    Sure - I read the OP's post.

I wasn't responding to the OP, I was commenting on the post I quoted by padma

Tbh he is very lucky I didn't sue him for threatening, me shouting and roaring at me for no reason. Going to lunge at me in front of a bangarda. So in reality buseireann is very lucky the bill was only 1200 quid. So don't judge the situation without knowing the full details.

You can sue people for shouting at you?! Wow, must remember that.

At the end of the day it's insurance fraud. Retrospectively attempting to justify it by saying the driver got aggressive is irrelevant, he's not paying for it.

It's this sort of behaviour that drives up insurance cost for me, and everyone else. Thanks.

It's not insurance fraud, there was €1200 damage done (according to the main dealer). You don't have to get the car fixed with the money, you can paint it with hammerite yourself and spend the €1200 on Daz and hookers if you are so inclined, still not insurance fraud.

Let's move on from the insurance fraud angle, shall we?

    From the OP's posts:

I think it's pretty obvious the OP want's a very expensive repairer, but has never even hinted that they want doctored estimates, invoices for work not done, or any other such messing.
As such, insurance fraud doesn't really come into it.

WRT the general encouraging of people to get quotes for work not done, or to specifically request a high quote, this potentially is insurance fraud and therefore it's against the Charter to advocate it. There will be no further discussion of this kind of practice please.

The dealer quoted 1200. That's how much it cost tto fix. Wheres the fraud? The value of my car went down. My insurance went up. Road rage is a criminal offence. If you read today's news you will see that two brothers will be doing time over threatening someone. So he is very lucky I didn't press charges as the bangarda advised me to. So for 1200 euro was it worth it. I don't know. Either way a flight was paid for out of it as is my right. Insurance is expensive in Ireland because it's a cartel. Not because someone deliberately decided to scrape my car knowing he's insurance wouldn't be affected but the company he works for.

It was a frightening experience by an individual who shouldn't be behind a wheel, much less someone who's job it is to transport people from a-b. So your opinion you are entitled to it but if your car ever gets scraped deliberately like mine did maybe you can go pay for it yourself.
