Eyebrows

Had a quick search but found nothing terribly recent.

Anyway, I've let my eyebrows grow out after getting a bit too enthusiastic in a DIY plucking over a year ago. Problem now is they're unspeakably bushy and ugly looking. So, where's the best place in Dublin city center to get them fixed up (relatively cheaply - I am a poor student after all :pac:) ? Somewhere I could just walk in would be preferable. Obviously someone who knows how to properly shape brows to suit a face is required, as I am perfectly capable of messing up my eyebrows on my own for free :P

    Fire away!

Best place to get your eyebrows done is with Natalie in Boutique
She threads them and trims them into shape, she's the only one I go to and I always get commented on how nice my eyebrows are. It costs 15 euro

Mandala Spa, in La Stampa Hotel on Dawson St. It's €15 for a threading, but if you're a student they do a 10% discount. They've lowered their prices recently, it used to be €20 so I was pleasantly surprised last time!

Another thing you could do is get the stencils I find them very handy to use and CHEAP :D:D

Youtube videos are another amazing thing, Michelle Phan has a great tutorial on how to shape you eyebrows :)

Threading is usually better and the Body Shop on Henry Street have started offering threading for €12. :)

I like this idea :P But I ruined my eyebrows last time I tried myself so I reckon I'll get 'em done properly this time and just maintain them at home.

+1 for Natalie from Boutique! and threading is definitely the way forward...get a much cleaner shape than waxing...I've tried threading in a few different places now, and my skin is very sensitive and I tend to break out afterwards, with little red spots remaining up to two days later...but Natalie in Boutique seems to have the best technique, with little or no breakout...good shape too!

Can you walk in without appointment to Boutique?

I've gone about 4 times now and have never had to make an appointment,...might not hurt to ring ahead though if travelling a bit!
