Looking for long dress to cover tattoo for wedding.

I'm going to a friends wedding in a few weeks and could really do with some help finding a dress, as I've had no luck so far.

I am limiting myself to a long dress (even though I am 5ft 4") because I have a really big tattoo on my leg that I don't want to show. I thought maybe I could use some kind of cover up product on it but trials so far have been useless. I'm in the middle of laser treatments to have it removed so it's faded but not faded enough to go with a short dress.

I had ordered a really lovely maxi dress from Littlewoods but sadly it didn't accommodate my pretty big bust.

Would really appreciate some help as I don't think I'd get away with wearing tights to a May wedding.

Have trials really been useless? Have you used dermablend?

With the right accessories you could look fabulous in even the plainer looking maxi-dresses but you're definitely spoilt for choice at the moment as they're in pretty much every store.

I'm really short (4'11'') and have big boobs (an E cup) but I found a maxi dress in Dunnes the other day. They were only just in so I'm not sure if they would be in all stores yet. I ended up not buying it but they had a few in that would be suitable for you (granted, they would need to be taken up... on me anyway... because they are super long) but definitely worth having a look in some of the bigger stores.

Another idea could be to wear a long, flowy skirt with a nice top - so you could accommodate both top and bottom! I have seen them in a few shops but I'm sure as the weeks go on there will be more. Lots of stores are still getting in their Summer stock so something might pop up that suits in the coming weeks.

Yeah I have tried it (bought ivory shade online). It came out a pinkish colour on my leg and looked really weird. Do you know of any salons/shops that stock it that I could try different shades?

Hey, did you think of maybe just wearing black tights? I have a tattoo that goes down my leg and onto my foot and when I'm wearing tights you can barely see it. By barely, I mean you can see it but you wouldn't notice it in most light. I'm sure if you got very dark or even woolen tight you wouldn't see it at all
