    Just so everyone hears about this deadly deal in the canteen tommorow
    Dear all,

    Having overcharged students all year, we have decided that all chicken and chips meals will be free tomorrow in the restaurant. This will be held on Wednesday the 13th of April. Simply present your student card at checkout to avail of this offer.

    Apparently someone has found a mechanism to send emails using other peoples email addresses without actually having to gain access to their email accounts.
    Odd times...But Im looking towards my free food tomorrow! :D

    This fake email is in breach of the code of conduct and will be investigated.

    This email was NOT sent from the DCU restaurant.
    This offer is NOT available today (Wednesday) as suggested.

    Ah balls. Wonder what they'll do to the perpetrators of this evil hoax? :eek:

    It's not hard to do. You could do it with DCU's old e-mail system. I'd like to know how they were able to send to the dcu_ug address though.

    Well I suppose they just used the list system. The mechanism is specific to the DCU mailing system and I assume they just used the same mailing list that the restaurant uses.
